🧪 Our Signature Blend: Precision Meets Tradition

Our core ceremonial-grade matcha is a custom blend of five carefully selected cultivars grown in the Uji region of Kyoto—renowned for producing the finest matcha in Japan. Here's what goes into the blend:

🌿 Yabukita

The most widely grown cultivar in Japan. Known for its clean, balanced flavor and bright aroma. It forms the backbone of the blend.

🌿 Okumidori

Adds a luxurious creaminess and vivid green hue, enhancing both the mouthfeel and visual appeal.

🌿 Samidori

A favorite in high-end ceremonial matcha. It deepens the umami character and contributes to a refined, lingering taste.

🌿 Saemidori

Soft and smooth on the palate, this cultivar adds a gentle sweetness and smooth finish.

🌿 Tsuyuhikari

Known for its fresh, floral aroma and delicate vibrancy. It rounds out the blend with a light, refreshing lift.

Why We Blend

Unlike single-cultivar matcha (which can vary drastically between harvests), blending allows us to create a consistently exceptional experience—season after season. It’s the same principle used by Japan’s top tea masters: combine cultivars to highlight their strengths, balance their weaknesses, and ensure the perfect cup every time.
